Careers at Conscia
At Conscia, we are moving beyond "integration plumbing" to define the next era of the enterprise stack: Digital Experience Orchestration (DXO). We believe that for brands to thrive in an age of headless frontends and AI Agents, they need more than just APIs—they need a governed semantic foundation and a deterministic orchestration engine that separates business meaning from backend complexity. We are a team of architects and innovators building the "Agent Experience API" that allows global enterprises to modernize their stacks from the outside-in. If you are passionate about Knowledge Graphs, MACH architecture, and bridging the gap between probabilistic AI and reliable enterprise execution, join us in building the orchestration layer that makes the future of digital experience possible.

About Conscia
Conscia is the agentic commerce readiness layer for enterprise brands. Our platform—DX Graph, DX Engine, and Universal MCP Server—sits between a brand's backend systems (SAP, SFCC, Adobe, Commercetools, Akeneo, Manhattan, Salesforce, and more) and every channel or AI agent it serves. We provide one governed semantic model and deterministic execution engine so that when an agent asks anything about products, pricing, inventory, or policy, it gets one correct answer.
Enterprise brands run on multi-system stacks built over decades. Conscia makes those stacks agent-ready—without ripping them out.
The Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Conscia, you are the technical owner of customer success. You embed with our enterprise customers—retail, manufacturing, B2B distribution, and automotive brands—and own their implementation of the Conscia platform from kickoff to production and beyond. You are half solutions architect, half hands-on engineer: you design the integration architecture one morning and write the DX Engine configuration that afternoon.
You will work with customers whose stacks typically include five to twenty backend systems and multiple digital channels. Your job is to turn that complexity into governed, deterministic capabilities the brand can expose to AI agents, headless storefronts, and internal teams—and to make the implementation feel effortless to the customer.
What You'll Do
Customer Implementation
- Lead end-to-end implementations of Conscia DX Graph, DX Engine, and Universal MCP Server for enterprise customers
- Design the integration architecture connecting customer backend systems (commerce platforms, PIMs, ERPs, OMSs, CDPs, search engines, loyalty platforms) to the Conscia orchestration layer
- Build and configure DX Engine flows: API chaining, data transformation, decisioning logic, caching, and read/write capabilities for checkout, reorder, returns, and inventory
- Model customer business entities in DX Graph—products, customers, pricing, inventory, policies—establishing a governed semantic foundation across the customer's full stack
- Configure and publish Universal MCP Server capabilities to UCP, MCP, A2A, and other agent protocols, making the brand agent-ready across Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, and proprietary agents
- Own customer onboarding, technical workshops, and go-live milestones, keeping stakeholders aligned from technical leads to VP-level sponsors
Technical Advisory
- Act as the trusted technical advisor for customers navigating composable commerce modernization, agentic commerce readiness, and BFF/headless architecture decisions
- Advise on how Conscia fits within existing stacks alongside Salesforce, SAP, SFCC, Adobe, Commercetools, Akeneo, Manhattan, and others
- Run architecture reviews and help customers articulate the value of governed semantic orchestration to internal stakeholders and procurement committees
- Guide customers from legacy monolith setups through phased API-first modernization without disrupting live storefronts
Internal Impact
- Translate field learnings into product feedback: surface integration pain points, missing capabilities, and documentation gaps to product and engineering
- Build and document repeatable implementation playbooks, reference architectures, and integration templates for the most common customer stack patterns
- Support pre-sales as a technical SME: lead proof-of-concept builds, technical deep-dives, and RFP responses alongside the account team
- Mentor junior implementation engineers as the team grows
What You Bring
Required
- 5–8 years of experience in solutions architecture, forward-deployed engineering, technical consulting, or implementation leadership in an enterprise software context
- Deep familiarity with the enterprise commerce and DXP stack: hands-on experience with two or more of SAP Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager/Commerce, Commercetools, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, or Oracle Commerce
- Fluency in REST and GraphQL API integration patterns; able to read, write, and debug API payloads without assistance
- Experience designing or implementing BFF (backend for frontend), Experience API, or orchestration layers in multi-system environments
- Proven ability to own complex technical engagements with enterprise customers—managing timelines, stakeholders, and scope without close supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication: you can explain a semantic graph to a CIO and a JSON transformation to a developer on the same day
Strongly Preferred
- Hands-on experience with integration or orchestration platforms: MuleSoft Anypoint, Boomi, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or similar
- Familiarity with enterprise PIMs (Akeneo, Salsify, inRiver), OMSs (Manhattan, IBM Sterling, NewStore), and CDPs (Segment, Tealium, Bloomreach)
- Awareness of agentic commerce protocols—MCP, UCP, A2A—and how AI agents interact with commerce backends
- Experience with knowledge graph or semantic modeling concepts (ontologies, entity relationships, data normalization across heterogeneous systems)
- Scripting or development proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java sufficient to build and review integration code
- MACH Alliance, Composable Commerce, or platform certifications (SAP, Salesforce, Adobe) are a plus
Who You Are
You are energized by being the person in the room who understands both the enterprise architecture and the customer's business outcomes. You don't wait to be told what the customer needs—you ask the right questions, map the gaps, and start building. You've spent enough time in enterprise commerce to have opinions about what works and what doesn't, and you know how to share those opinions without being prescriptive. You take pride in leaving customers with implementations they understand and can own.
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary + equity in a high-growth company solving a category-defining infrastructure problem
- Direct access to product and engineering—your field learnings shape the roadmap
- A small, senior team where your work is visible and your decisions matter
- Remote-first with flexibility to work with global enterprise customers
